Redlands Community Church
Where do you meet?
We are highly committed to sharing the love of Jesus in a setting where Christians and non-Christians feel comfortable. We currently share a building with a local church. Our meeting place is 51 Allenbby Rd, Alexandra Hills, QLD.
Do you offer anything for kids?
Normally, kids head outside or to a classroom during the main teaching session. This is usually a time of Bible-based crafts, singing, and games, with a curriculum which is overseen and often lead by experienced, registered professional teachers.
Older children are welcome to stay for the lesson, although some topics require a high degree of Biblical familiarity and assume a degree of prior learning.
What should I wear?
Whatever you want. Dress is casual; come as you are.
What should I expect at a Sunday Worship Gathering?
Each service lasts approximately ninety minutes to two hours. We get started every week right at 3:00pm. If you are the type of person that likes to be on time you will want to arrive a few minutes early, or if you’d like to slip in unnoticed so you can check us out … feel free to come a few minutes late.
Each week we spend time in sharing, relevant Bible teaching, and family communion. We are simple and relaxed, and we’d love for you to come any time.
What kind of church is Redlands Community Church?
Our heritage is that of 'Church of Christ.' The Church of Christ began as a part of the Stone-Campbell Restoration Movement, a movement determined to be simply Christian. Where you come from says a lot about you, but it doesn’t say everything. While we share a commitment to many of the values of our tradition, we seek to express our faith in ways that connect with the challenges presented by our ever-changing culture.
